Which is also known for its medicinal properties along with its excellent taste. In rural areas, people believe that olive chutney is beneficial in piles.

Local farmer Kamalendu Jha says that olive cultivation is very beneficial. Here, in every Shraddha, from rural areas to urban areas, no matter who performs the Shraddha ritual, Ola is required in it. That’s why we never have to think about selling it. Oil is full of many qualities. People suffering from piles must eat olive oil. For those who are Vaishnavs, it is more delicious than meat and mutton. In the rural language of our people, we call it ‘Jhamrua’ which is very tasty, pickle is also made from it, Chokha is also made from it, many items are made from it and every item is very delicious to eat. This time it is made in 15 bags and is sold at Rs 40 per kg. As it is off season now, it is sold at Rs 70 and 80 per kg.
